Speech at a Conference

I have written a speech I am to give at some conference, but the pages are hardly readable; the letters have faded! I can see what the words say, but I want to read them without a problem while giving the speech, so I decide to write over them with pen. I walk into a building, and on the lawn I see Sydney Hirsch lying down on the ground, for no apparent reason. I say hello to her, hoping that she will recognize me and my "new good looks" (which is what was going through my mind during the dream) and continue in.

I am all of a sudden inside a room, with two large boxes in the back that resemble changing rooms. I am lead into one of them by an asian woman, for the purpose of having quiet time to write over my speech. I am about to start, but open the door to ask for some fruit because I am hungry. The woman brings me back a very small plate with 3 mini apples. I contemplate how I should eat them regarding the time of my speech, though I still feel frantic to get the speech done. This part of the dream is fuzzy, but I do remember a bald physics teachers who works at Country Day giving his speech in a dark, blue-lighted room among an enormous crowd (the same place I was to give my speech); and he is the "Secretary" of something important. I also vaguely remember Barack Obama speaking towards the crowd.
